For a short summer, it sure feels like it's been forever since I've ridden some good snow! I'm super excited for the seasons to be changing and I've been hearing that it's going to be another el Nina year! Tahoe had record breaking snow fall last season, which was evident when we were shredding tons of snow up at the Patch in August & September! The Tahoe Tribune did an article on the "Patch Party" that the Heavenly Park Crew hosted. I was super pumped when I got the cover shot in the newspaper!
It's already October and the snow's gonna start to fall soon! Last week I visited the Heavenly Park Crew guys up at their shop and they gave me a tour. I was super excited to see the new widened trails that they have for the High Roller Park! The trail is more than double wide and twice as long; it's gonna be RIDICIULOUS this year! They also showed me some of their new jibs, bonks, and stalls and the only thing I can say is - you're gonna be super stoked to ride at the Heav this year!
I also just got my gear for this season from 686 and Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhh, it's SO sick! Between my visit to the top of Heavenly and starting to get my gear for the season, I can't wait to start shredding! I'm going to start off the season with opening weekend @ Mammoth followed by Heavenly's opening date which is set for November 19th! See you all there!
